If you are interested in outdoor activities, working as a team with great people, building lifelong friendships, contributing to the community and being part of living history, why not join the award-winning team of volunteers that have made Puffing Billy Railway the much-loved tourist attraction it is today.

We have five key entry-level Volunteer roles available that contribute to the enjoyment and safe running of the Railway for our local and international visitors. We offer full in-house training to teach you new skills and provide you with a valuable experience while attending each shift.

Our Puffing Billy Pathways Program will assist in identifying a role that suits you and the railway mutually, where you can discover more about the organisation and the roles available.
