Ever wanted to be a steam train fireman?
The role of the Fireman is to fire the steam locomotive and where endorsed, the diesel locomotives of Puffing Billy Railway in accordance with the operating rules and regulations to provide a safe and memorable experience for visitors.
Please note that firing our steam trains requires lots of experience, practical work, and tests - not to mention 6am starts! Puffing Billy Railway will support you as you work towards these goals – for more information please don’t hesitate to contact volunteering@pbr.org.au
