A Track Patroller undertakes patrols and inspections of the track to ensure that the requirements of Puffing Billy’s rail safety management system are met. The Patroller manages maintenance programs and repairs or arranges repair of the track as appropriate.
Please note that being a track patroller requires lots of experience, practical work, and tests - not to mention 6am starts! Puffing Billy Railway will support you as you work towards these goals – for more information please don’t hesitate to contact volunteering@pbr.org.au
