Selby Community House is an inclusive and social place where people come together to learn, connect, grow and participate. One of the first community houses in Australia, the house has been providing social participation opportunities, lifelong learning and children's services since 1975.
Our purpose is to provide opportunities and a place to inspire, socially interact, stay informed, feel supported, learn, grow and stay healthy and to share in special experiences with other like-minded community members. We are fortunate to be part of a very special community who shares our values of community connection, innovation, creativity and advocacy.
Every term, we offer a range of courses, activities and events to enrich and empower the local community, including formal training, workshops and classes, community exhibitions (including our ArtSpace), childcare and playgroups, and of course the annual SelbyFest.
