Day 1
Afternoon / evening
Check in to Yering Gorge Cottages, featuring 13 self-contained, beautifully appointed one, two and five-bedroom cottages. All cottages include separate living and bedroom areas, and guests can relax on their wide balcony watching the kangaroos graze, whilst enjoying a glass of local Yarra Valley wine.
Enjoy dinner from the adjacent Eastern Golf Club dining room.
Day 2
Morning (pre-dawn, really)
Enjoy a spectacular balloon ride with Global Ballooning over Yarra Valley - a world-class experience.
A champagne breakfast is included in your ballooning ticket.
Afternoon
Travel onboard Puffing Billy to Lakeside station. Relax and unwind with a majestic three-hour steam train journey as you take in the scenic vista of the Dandenong Ranges. Upon arrival, collect a couple's picnic pack from the Tea Rooms before finding a secluded spot on the lawns at Emerald Lake Park where you can enjoy the feast!
Explore the quaint village of Olinda in the Dandenong Ranges - only a ten-minute drive from Puffing Billy's Belgrave station.
Evening
Enjoy Asian Fusion cuisine at Olinda Tea House, a modern yet incredibly relaxing Asian fusion restaurant, specialising in Devonshire tea, lunch and dinner al a carte menu, banquet menus, functions of all kinds, exquisite desserts and authentic oriental high teas.
Afterward, take the 45-minute drive back to your accommodation at Yering Gorge Cottages.
Day 3

Check out from Yering Gorge Cottages following breakfast in your cottage.
Afternoon
Explore wineries, gin distilleries and points of interest in the Yarra Valley wine region before starting your journey home.
