Education Programs at Puffing Billy Railway incorporate multiple learning activities with a focus on an exploration of history through storytelling, a journey into nature, endless discovery, emotional and cultural connection, adventure and fun.

  • An adventure through the magnificent forests of the Dandenong Ranges onboard Puffing Billy Railway.
  • An exploration of the Lakeside Visitor Centre.
  • A range of guided programs to suit all abilities and age groups.
  • Pre and post resources for teachers and leaders.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate educators.
  • Programs that are linked to The Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and The Victorian Curriculum.
