Puffing Billy Railway (PBR) values public participation and recognises that community and stakeholder support is critical to progressing its vision of preserving and sharing a world renowned, community-based heritage steam rail experience that captures the natural beauty and rich social history of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges.
Puffing Billy Railway encourages community members, groups, and volunteers to engage with projects, policies, and areas of interest and provide valuable feedback that help with the strategic direction of the railway.
STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE
The Stakeholder Consultative Committee serves as a reference group for Puffing Billy Railway to share information, identify emerging issues and opportunities, and obtain valuable input and feedback from stakeholders on matters important to them and the local community.
Youth Reference Group
The Youth Reference Group is a passionate group of young people aged 16 to 25 that are committed to providing advice on issues of importance to young people, while ensuring Puffing Billy Railway is youth-friendly and relevant to young people and their families.
