Travel to Belgrave from Melbourne CBD on Metro Trains via the Belgrave Line (70 minutes approx). Upon arrival to Belgrave, follow the blue line painted on the platform to Puffing Billy. For public transport updates call 1800 800 007 or use the Journey Planner to prepare for your trip.

Changes to travel on the Belgrave & LIlydale Metro Train lines - Sat 11 and Sun 12 May:

Buses Blackburn - Ringwood
Saturday 11 May & Sunday 12 May

Due to upgrades of signals between Blackburn and Ringwood, buses will replaces trains between Blackburn & Ringwood all day on Saturday and Sunday.
As journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes, we advise customers to check altered travel times with Public Transport Victoria (PTV) on 1800 800 007.

PLEASE NOTE

• Puffing Billy travels through the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne (sometimes referred to as 'The Dandeongs'). Please note that Dandenong Railway Station is in fact NOT situated in the Dandenong Ranges.
• 'Day Out With Thomas' is held at our EMERALD Town Station in October, November and March. The Journey Planner shows you how to get to Belgrave station. 'Thomas' patrons can to go to Public Transport Victoria's website and type in "Puffing Billy Place, Emerald".
