You can assist with the environmental management of our rail corridor as an Environmental Team Member.

Wood Trains ***

If you are handy with a chainsaw and enjoy being part of a team, we have regular wood trains that collect fallen trees along our track.

Signal & Telegraph Team Member ***

You can assist with the communications and signalling of the railway as a Signal & Telegraph Team Member.

Lineside Attractions Team Member ***

Our Menzies Creek Museum is still under development. You can become a Lineside Attractions Team Member and work with a part of the Railway’s history.

Gardening Team Member ***

You can assist with the beautification of our gardens and parks in our Station areas and along the Railway as a Gardening Team Member.

Buildings Team Member ***

Become a Buildings Team Member and assist with the maintenance and repair of the buildings along the Railway.

Track Work ***

Track Work ensures that the track is maintained to high safety standards and that the rail corridor is scenic and safe for patrons, staff and volunteers.

Carriage Workshops

If you have an interest in woodwork, painting or restoration - the Carriage Workshops may be where you would like to contribute.

Volunteer Services

You will offer all our volunteers valuable support while on the Railway and assist our Volunteer Coordinator with all our human resource duties.

Booking Clerks

As a Booking Clerk, you are our first line of customer service. You will share information with our passengers, before selling them their ticket.

Station Masters

Our volunteer Station Masters are in charge of the day to day running of the Railway, and ensure that all the trains run on time.

Track Patrollers

Track Patrollers inspect the rail corridor and the components of the track at the start of each day on a series of self-propelled trollies.

Locomotive Workshops Team Member

You can assist with the restoration and maintenance of some of our beautiful and majestic engines and other railway vehicles.
