Belgrave line: Level Crossing Removal Project disruptions

Public Transport Victoria advises that buses will replace train services between Box Hill/Blackburn and Ringwood stations from Tuesday, 27 December 2016 until Sunday, 5 February 2017. Please note that this will increase your journey time to Puffing Billy by approx. 40 minutes. Normal train services will resume and the new Heatherdale Station will open on Monday, 6 February 2017. Travel to Belgrave from Melbourne CBD on Metro Trains via the Belgrave Line (70 mins approx). Upon arrival to Belgrave, follow the blue line painted on the platform to Puffing Billy. For public transport updates call 1800 800 007 or use the Journey Planner to prepare for your trip.


PLEASE NOTE: Puffing Billy travels through the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne (sometimes referred to as 'The Dandeongs'). Please note that Dandenong Railway Station is NOT situated in the Dandenong Ranges.
